OPEN EVOLUTION 70 SCOOTER

If the Assen circuit has always been considered the “university“ of MotoGP, and to win a race in that track is like to graduate, Castelletto di Branduzzo is in every respect an university for those who ride a scooter. Once again Castelletto di Branduzzo has kept his role of most loved and feared circuit, above all by the beginners. Corsi looked to be at his ease; he started in pole position and able to leave Matteo Tiraferri 12 seconds behind him in Race 2. Beside the first place at the starting grid and the victory in Race 2, Corsi signed also the fastest lap with more than 81km/h average.

His perfect day has been ruined by a slip in Race 1 when, 2 curves before the end he tried to face up Tiraferri’s overtaking, and he had to settle for an 8th position. Corsi started as quick as lightening gaining the first position. With 45 points Tiraferri is first in the results with 22 points over Corsi. Between the protagonists of this race we have to mention Paolo Gabellini, twice third and Mauro Montagna, memorable great scooter rider.
