LOOK AT THE PHOTOS OF THE RACE

You can call it competitive spirit, challenge, fun, but for people who love the scooter races it is simply: the Polini Italian Cup. We are talking about the most spectacular, amazing Italian Championship, open to any possible result that started on March 21st on the track in Corridonia. Many novelties in this 6th edition with 3 classes dedicated to the scooters: two 70cc Evolution Trophies, one single-brand for the scooters tuned up with Polini parts only and the open class, for all the scooters tuned up with different parts produced by other manufacturers and the new Open 94 Big Evolution, even more “explosive” not only for the displacement but because it is open to all the parts’ brands.

We talk about Mirko Giovacchini, Stefano Serventi, Alessandro Fabbri and Alessandro Grazaro. Giovacchini, who was back to the scooter races after one season in the R1 Cup, was able to put an extra something and win the race.

Tiraferri dominated Race2 and he rallied from the unlucky Race 1, arriving before Corsi and Bartolini.

94 cc BIG EVOLUTION SCOOTER OPEN

The races of this brand new Trophy were a private deal for two riders: Cristian Mammi and Yulien Vitali. Race 1 saw Mammi’s victory who was able to repel the other riders’ attacks. In Race 2 Mammi followed the riders, overtaking Vitali but undergoing his rival in some steps of the race. During the last lap Vitali found the sprint to win the race, while Mammi and Beatrizzotti were second and third.

“3G SPEED CLUTCH” AND “3G SPEED CLUTCH FOR RACE” FOR 50CC SCOOTERS

The Polini 3G Speed Clutch for 50cc scooters, both in the standard and For race version, give you breath-taking starts, with increased pick-up and acceleration. They better resist to stresses when starting. The standard clutch kit is calibrated for the original engine. For the races it can be easily modified by changing the springs. PIT AND BULL

They are the cheapest, hard-fought and spectacular races, the closest to the original bikes and where nothing is taken for granted and everything is possible till the end of the race. Their challenge was really exciting, with moments of great competitive spirit. The very good Jacopo Schirò played an important role and he was third.

Roberto Bonomelli was protagonist of a good performance too. In the new-born XP150 4T Open and XP65 2t Trophy Mattia Gollini was the protagonist. Second in Race 1 behind Devis Catellani, Gollini was third in Race 2, allowing Guido Fulgoni and Marco Ferreri to fight for the victory.
